THE PRAYER OF JABEZ.1 CHRONICLES 4 VS 9-10.

The HOLY SPIRIT gives a short account of the LIFE of a man named JABEZ (SORROW MAKER). Pliz read the story as u follow this discussion. Its fascinating because its in the middle of a GENEALOGY OF JUDAH. HE takes time to explain something about this man.WHY? Is it because Jabez life relates to many of us TODAY?. JABEZ discovered that his fate in life had been decided, when he was born. SORROW MAKER!. BUT The Word says HE was MORE HONOURABLE, NOBLE, BETTER (different translations) THAN HIS BROTHERS. I find that interesting because this comes in the middle of a GENEALOGY OF THE WHOLE TRIBE OF JUDAH. His is the only life that is expanded because of the PRAYER HE MADE. Obviously Jabez was not content with certain KEY issues in his LIFE. He must have studied his life and decided THINGS HAVE GOT TO CHANGE! I CAN NOT CONTINUE LIKE THIS. 1- What kind of a name is this?. 2- I need  BLESSING (EMPOWERMENT TO PROSPER) in my life. 3- My territory is TOO SMALL, I NEED ENLARGEMENT. 4- This desert i'm in does not show GOD'S HAND IN MY LIFE. (Isaiah 41 v 10 .....I WILL UPHOLD U WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND.) I NEED THE HAND OF GOD IN MY LIFE.....IN ALL I DO!. 5- KEEP ME FROM EVIL... even that associated with my name, or Anything that l can't control which comes to interfere with my  peace, prosperity, joy,comfort......6- JABEZ took a leap of FAITH to confront that which life gave him before he could even decide for himself (SORROW MAKER). OR THAT I MAY NOT CAUSE PAIN. NB- Thats nobility. Concern not to cause pain or sorrow to others. Sadly few in Christ ever think about this. We say, do or dont do things to others hurting them badly. At times we say l was born like that! REALLY! PLIZ DO SOMETHING ABOUT TR SITUATION TODAY!. CONFRONT HARD ISSUES!. IF JABEZ had told somebody about his discontentment they would have probably said .."U CANT HELP IT!, U TOO OLD NOW TO CHANGE IT. ENLARGEMENT?, BLESSING? MAN ....BE THANKFUL YR NAME IS UNIQUE! WHO ELSE HAS IT. Jabez knew WHERE TO GO.... THE ONE WHO WAS PRESENT BEFORE HIM, ONE WHO WAS THERE WHEN THEY GAVE HIM THE NAME....., ONE WHO OWNS THE LAND AND IS ABLE TO NULLIFY THE PAST. THE ONLY SOURCE OF EVERYTHING. GOD COULD NOT REFUSE SUCH A DISPLAY OF FAITH, TRUST, AND DETERMINATION!. GOD GRANTED HIS REQUEST. FUNNY ,GOD DIDN'T THINK IT WAS RIDICULOUS, OR GREED, OR LACK OF RESPECT FOR HIS MOTHER. GOD GAVE HIM A STATE OF NOBILITY MORE THAN ALL THE FAMILY OF JUDAH.....

SO where are u now? ARE U GOING TO CONTINUE WITH YR LIFE AND BLAME IT ON FATE. JABEZ refused to let life or anybody dictate his present condition! He took charge!.SOME of us let the countries we r in dictate. BUT THE WORD SAYS WE R HIS OFFSPRING (GOD)  ACTS17 vs 28. FURTHERMORE....COLOSSIANS 2 vs14 ..Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. HE HAS TAKEN IT OUT OF THE WAY, HAVING NAILED IT TO THE CROSS. HAVING DISARMED PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS, HE MADE A PUBLIC SPECTACLE OF THEM TRIUMPHING OVER THEM IN IT. SO.... FINALLY...COLS 3 vs20 THEREFORE, IF U DIED WITH CHRIST FROM THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE WORLD, WHY AS THO LIVING IN THE WORLD DO U SUBJECT YR SELF TO REGULATIONS.......?. I REST MY CASE. AMEN.
