You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You
anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Well it’s a pleasure once
again, to study the Word of God. We are now in verse 5. Verse 4 was quite
intense with a lot of insights to the making of a son. We discovered that a son
in the kingdom dwells in the secret place. Well if it’s a secret place it means
its secret, no one knows where it is, because you are hidden in God. Only He
knows where you are. Under the shadow of his wings. Who would dare to go to God
and say open your wings l want to attack your beloved? The enemy is scared of
the very thought of going to seek you out of the secret place. Lets support
this by scripture.
Job’s Discourse on Wisdom

And a place where

Iron is taken from the earth,
And copper is
smelted from ore.

Man puts
an end to darkness,
And searches every recess
For ore in the darkness and the
shadow of death.

He breaks open a shaft away from people;

They hang far away from men;
They swing to and

As for the
earth, from it comes bread,
But underneath it is turned up as by fire;

Its stones are the source of sapphires,
And
it contains gold dust.

Nor has the falcon’s eye seen it.

The proud lions[a] have not trodden
it,
Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.

He puts his hand on the
flint;
He overturns the mountains at the roots.

He cuts out channels in the
rocks,
And his eye sees every precious thing.

He dams up the streams from
trickling;
What is hidden he brings forth to light.
What this
scripture talks about are issues of life, all that’s happening to the Earth and
on Earth, but in verses 7-11, Job trails off, and starts talking about a path
in God that is secret. He says the Falcons, and the proud lions don’t know it.
The falcons and the lions are the devils and his demons. The word says the
enemy roars like a lion..
1 Peter 5:8

sober, be vigilant; because[a] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking
whom he may devour.
In the secret
place no lion comes roaring there, he doesn’t know the path to that place, says
JOB above. Look at psalm 91
Although we have
looked at this psalm before, l want you to revisit and see the benefits of
dwelling with God in the secret place.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my
refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague
come near your dwelling;
11
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To
keep you in all your ways.
12
In their hands they shall bear you
up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13
You
shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you
shall trample underfoot.
14
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I
will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will
be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him
My salvation.”
No lions comes to you, or can defeat you in the
secret place.
YOU NEED THIS UNDERSTANG SO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND
VERSE 5. VERSE 5 IS A CONTINUATION OF VERSE 4. THEY ARE LINKED.
In the secret place you are trained
for war, your character is changed in the presence of a mighty God, you become
a son, who is able to handle family business.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
Why does David say this? Why is God now confident
to prepare a table himself in the presence of your enemies? Look its God
Himself who prepares the table. Because every Father who has spent time
training his son in the family business is confident that The son can perform
despite who is in competition. Remember the Father himself has taught the son
in the secret place. THE son knows the Father what he likes and doesn’t like.
The son now knows where it’s safe to dwell. He has been trained in war skills
to fight every enemy. WHAT are the enemies, we looked at those in verse 4, some
are fear, sickness and disease, pride, sins, demons, lions, serpents,
everything that the enemy throws at the son, or believer. Before the secret
place, the son couldn’t handle these enemies, so the father could not throw a
party in the presence of the enemies. You see in every party the Lord throws
you, the enemy also attends. It’s a party, its public; HAMAN accompanied the
king to Esther’s banquet.

Now after the Lord has been walking with you,
training you in warfare, teaching you about your position in Christ, Your

you can be thrown a party.
The word table in verse 5 IS ASSOCIATED WITH
FEAST. And the words before and presence mean its
public. What ever went on in the secret place, whatever training and
instruction happened in the secret place can be now executed publicly. No commander
trains an army and then after the training hides it. There is a public PASS OUT
PARADE, where there is feasting and displays. IN your party thrown by the Lord
show off your skills and weapons of your warfare that are not canal but mighty
in God to the pulling down of strongholds. Show your weapons of praise,
worship, thanksgiving, dances, and speeches about WHO GOD IS, WHAT HE HAS DONE
FOR YOU, and AND HIS ATTRIBUTES THAT YOU HAVE LEARNED. INTIMIDATE YOUR ENEMIES
IN YOUR SPEECH WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT GOD’S NAMES, CAN YOU IMAGINE IF YOU TOLD THE
ENEMY YOU ARE COMING AGAINST HIM IN THE NAME OF JEHOVA EL SHADDAI, OR EL ELYON.

Now why is this so important? Because if l told
you of the benefits of the secret place and didn’t show you the truth of all of
it, then this study is biased and false. You need to understand how God works
as a FATHER TO GROWN UP SONS. A LOT OF CHRISTIANS NEVER GET THEIR BREAKTHROUGHS
DESPITE THEIR FAITH, ITS BECAUSE NO-ONE TOLD THEM THE TRUTH ABOUT BEING A SON A
FATHER CAN TRUST IN KINGDOM BUSINESS. YOU WANT TO USE THE BENEFITS IF BEING A
MATURE SON, LEARN THE USES OF BOTH THE ROD AND STAFF. THEY WILL COMFORT,
CORRECT, LEAD, AND GUIDE YOU. YOU SEE GOD IS HOLY. HOLINESS IS HIS ESSENTIAL
CHARACTER. HE DOESN’T HAVE HOLINESS, HE IS HOLINESS. YOU WILL NEVER FIND HIM
WITHOUT HIS HOLINESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE. IF YOU WALK WITH HIM YOU HAVE
TO LEARN THIS. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? HE WILL GIVE YOU THE ROD, AND TELL YOU IT’S
FOR YOUR UATHORITY, WEAPON, YOU CAN DO MIRACLES WITH IT. IT WILL OPEN DOORS FOR
YOU, ANYTHING YOU WANT WILL HAPPEN. BUT GOD WILL ALSO TELL YOU, BUT IF YOU
BEHAVE LIKE A FOOL, THE ROD WILL BE USED FOR YOUR DISCIPLINE. WHEN YOU ARE A
SON BEFORE YOU ARE GIVEN AUTHORITY YOU ARE TRAINED AND TESTED, SO YOU KNOW THE
WAYS OF GOD, AND BOTH THE WAYS OF THE ENEMY. AND GOD TELLS YOU IF YOU BEHAVE
LIKE A FOOL I WILL HAVE TO DISCIPLINE YOU, WITH THE ROD FOR I AM HOLY, JUST,
AND RIGHTEOUS. WHAT IS THE ROD, IT’S THE WORD OF GOD WE STUDIED THAT. YOU HAVE
TO GO TO PROVERBS AND FIND SCRIPTURES THAT TEACH ABOUT A SON AND A FOOL AND
LEARN. Well some say if you are a son it should be different, but TO WHOM MUCH
IS GIVEN, MUCH IS REQUIRED. SEE GOD WILL NOT SPARE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE A SON.

NOT SPARE HIS OWN SON WHEN HE WAS DEALING WITH SIN. HE WAS RADICAL ABOUT IT. HE
SHOWED HIS ANGER AGAINST SIN BUY DEALING WITH IT HARSHLY. SO IF YOU ARE A SON,
YOU ARE GOING TO RULE WITH JESUS, YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THIS. GOD IS HOLY,

What this means is God gave you the Holy Spirit
to walk with, or in. Romans 8:1-3. So you know because the Holy Spirit is your Teacher,
Helper, Guider, from GOD. He teaches you all things as Jesus said. John 14:16-18

What this means is that the
Holy Spirit who lives in you, is the one who convicts you when you have sinned.
So when you don’t repent it means you qualify for the scripture in Hebrews that
says you sin willfully. So as a mature son you are bringing shame to the family
and you are treating the blood of the covenant a common thing and insulting the
Spirit OF Grace. The Holy Spirit though His grace helps us not to sin, and when
we stumble he gives us grace to rise up, repent and try again. What is Grace among
the thousands of things it is, to me the greatest one is Divine enablement.
Power to do those things I could not manage by myself without God’s help, chief
of which is living a Holy LIFE PLEASING TO THE FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT.
Zechariah 4:4-7

THIS SCRIPTURES
SHOWS THAT WHAT EVER GOD GIVES YOU TO DO, YOU WILL NEVER MANAGE WITH YOUR MIGHT
OR POWER, BUT , IT WILL ALWAYS BE BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD. HE WILL ACCOMPLISH
THIS TASK FOR YOU BY SUPPLYING YOU WITH GRACE. THAT IS WHY THE SCRIPTURE IN
HEBREWS SAYS IF YOU CONTINUE TO SIN, AFTER YOU KNOW, THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS TAUGHT
YOU, YOU INSULT THE SPIRIT OF GRACE. YOU CAN READ THE SRIPTURE FUTHER TO
DISCOVER WHAT HAPPENS TO A HABBITUAL SINNER WHO HAS BEEN ENLIGHTENED.
SO WILL GOD SPARE
YOU AS A SON? THE WORD SAYS …HE WHO DID NOT SPARE HIS OWN SON BUT DELIVERED HIM
UP,.. IF GOD SPARED YOU AS A SON AFTER HE HAS TRAINED YOU AND TAUGHT YOU, HE
WILL BE VIOLATING HIS OWN NATURE OF HOLINESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE. ALSO
HE OPERATES WITH A LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING, WHICH HE CAN’T VIOLATE. WHAT EVER
HE LAID DOWN AS LAW FOR PARTICULAR SINS, IF YOU BEHAVE THAT WAY, THE ROD OF GOD
WILL BE USED ON YOU THE SAME WAY AS OTHERS. ITS NOT INJUSTICE BECAUSE BEFORE
GOD EVERGIVES YOU A POSITION OF AUTHORITY HE TRAINS YOU FOR IT. SO IN THE
SECRET PLACE YOU GOT TRAINED AND WERE INTRUCTED ON WAYS OF THE ENEMY. YOU WERE
TOLD AND SHOWN HOW CERTAIN DOORS OPEN AFFECT YOUR LIFE. IF YOU OPEN CERTAIN
DOORS YOU ATTRACT ATTACKS FROM THE ENEMY. SO DON’T SAY IM A SON GOD WILL SPARE
ME. SONS HAVE GOT THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEM AND GRACE TO LIVE RIGHT. IVE SAID
MORE THAN ENOUGH CONCERNING THE NEGATIVE CONDUCT OF A SON, REMEMBER WE ARE IN
YOUR PARTY. WE ARE FEASTING AT A TABLE PREPARED FOR YOU BY GOD.
LETS LOOK AT
WHAT YOU LEARNED ABOUT AUTHORITY. THE ABOVE DISCOURSE WAS ON THE ROD. THOSE WHO
HAVE WISDOM AND THE FEAR OF THE LORD CAN ONLY EFFECTIVELY EXERCISE AUTHORITY,

HIM YOU ARE IN CONTACT WITH THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD, OR THE SEVEN
MANIFESTATIONS OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD WHICH ARE, 1-

WHY DOES DAVID SAY YOU ANOINT MY HEAD WITH OIL,
MY CUP RUNS OVER?
First David has realized what this journey has
done for him and to him. He is now trained in the ways of the Lord. Remember
this journey from verse 1. All that has happened. He has been to the secret
place and understands ways of the kingdom better now. God is now ready to
anoint him for leadership.
His mind has been transformed, its been renewed
in the secret place. So God can trust him with being a leader. The SAD FACT OF
LIFE TODAY IS WE MEET A LOT OF LEADERS WHO HAVE TAKEN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS,
WITHOUT TRAINING IN THE SECRET PLACE. WHEN THE LORD TRIES TO INVITE THEM THEY
DECLINE THE INVITATION WITH THE EXCUSE THAT THEY ARE BUSY WORKING IN THE
KINGDOM. THEY WORK FOR GOD THEY DO NOT FULLY KNOW, THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND
PROTOCOL AND AUTHORITY, THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND THE USE UF THE ROD AND STAFF.
THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HIS WORK AND ROLE IN
THEIR LIVES. SO THEY MESS UP OFTEN, THEY GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT. THEY ARE WEAK
TOWARDS THEY ENEMIES. THE BIGGEST ENEMY WHO COMES AND JUST TOPPLES THEM OVER IS
PRIDE, THEN COMES SELF-RIGHTEOUNESS,, THEN AROGANCE, SOON DECEPTION FOLLOWS.
BEFORE LONG THEY HAVE OPENED THE DOORS TO LUST, SICKNESS AND DISEASE AND WHEN
THESE THINGS COME UPON THEM. MOST LIVE A BACKSLIDEN LIFE, ALTHOUGH STILL IN
LEADERSHIP, THEY ARE OFFENDED AT GOD, DISAPOINTED, AND SOME SEE NO GROWTH OR
POWER IN THEIR LIVES. ALL THEY NEEDED TO DO WAS TO GO TO THE KING OF THE KINGDOM,
HE WOULD HAVE TRAINED THEM IN THE WAYS OF HIS KINGDOM. BIBLE SCHOOL IS NOT FOR
TRAINING FOR LEADERSHIP, IN THE WAYS OF GOD. IN BIBLE SCHOOL YOU LEARN THE WORD

ABUSE AND FRUSTRATION. EVERY PERSON IN THE KINGDOM HAS A MANDATE TO EVANGELISE,
TELL PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS. A GREAT MINISTRY ON ITS OWN, WITH SO MUCH HONOUR FROM
GOD. ALTHOUGH PEOPLE HAVE BELITTLED IT LOOKING FOR POSITIONS, THEY BELIEVE HAVE
POWER, IT’S AN HONOR TO GOD TO BRING SOULS TO THE KINGDOM AND THERE IS A SOUL
WINNER’S CROWN. I HAVENT HEARD OF AN APOSTLES’S CROWN OR PROPHET’S CROWN. FOR
THOSE IN THOSE OFFICES THERE ARE REWARDS. EVERYTHING DONE FOR GOD WILL BE
REWARDED, BUT POSITIONS OF LEADERSHIP AND UATHORITY COME WITH RESPONSIBILITIES.
YOU WILL STAND BEFORE GOD TO ACCOUNT FOR THEM. IF YOU GOT INTO A WRONG POSITION
YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO ACCOUNT FOR IT. BECAUSE HAD YOU GONE TO THE HOLY
SPIRIT, HE WOULD HAVE LEAD AND DIRECTED
YOU TO YOUR RIGHTFUL MINISTRY. HE WOULD HAVE TRAINED YOU FOR YOUR POSITION
ACCORDING TO WHAT HE PUT IN YOU.
JESUS IS THE ONE WHO CHOOSES HIS
MINISTERS AND PUTS THEM IN OFFICES. THEN THE HOLY SPIRIT DECIDES WHICH GIFTS TO

Now we understand the reasons for the
gifts, ministry, and that Jesus chooses who will be who in ministry. His goal
is unity, edification of the body, knowledge of the Son of God, and a perfect
man who has a stature of the fullness of Christ.

Now lets look at the role of the Holy
Spirit in anointing people for ministry. First we all understand that ministry
is to be Christ based as we have seen, But Jesus CHRIST DECLARED THAT HIS OWN
MINISTRY WAS BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE HOLY SPIRIT ANOINTED JESUS FOR HIS
MINISTRY AND WITHOUT THE HOLY GHOST JESUS COULDN’T DO ANY THING. LOOK,

When Jesus had finished His ministry on Earth, HE sent His disciples
