Psalms from my heart psalm 6

My heart is overwhelmed by your love my God!

How awesome is your love and mercy,

Sweeter that the sweetest honey.

When I remember what you did for me and my brother Ree,

I stand amazed and in awe.

Holy, Holy, Holy is my response.

 

How can we, as mortal men be allowed to worship and touch the Holy God like you?

How can mortals be allowed to worship at your throne with the Seraphim?

How can we be allowed to join in the song of the ages and to cry Holy, Holy, Holy?

How can this be? My answer can only point to the blood of calvary. Yes, the blood of the covenant.

 

I will tell these things to the next generation.

Seeking your face is the most important requirement for the sons of men.

Our duty is to diligently seek him.

Seek him with all our hearts. He decreed in his Holy Word that if we seek for Him, we will find Him,

If we seek with all our hearts.

 

When the dark mountains towered over us,

Casting us to the valley of the shadow of dearth

There He was as He promised that “when you pass through the shadow of dearth, I am with you”!

When life harshly asked, where is your God?

He answered and said: I am here!

Faithful you are our LORD and FATHER!

I bow down in reverence and worship

I exclaim how excellent are you oh my God! SELAH.

LORD you are more precious than silver,

You are more desired than GOLD

Indeed, more beautiful than diamonds,

I will seek thee all the days of my life.

I will search for you in places where no others have dared to look

I will seek you with joy or tears,

Until l lay hold of you!

 

My God I seek for your heart,

I seek for that which is more precious than gold to me

While others are occupied with silver and gold,

They seek diligently till they find them,

I will seek diligently for your heart.

I will seek for that eternal heartbeat that created me.

I will dedicate my life to finding it.

 

My love come quickly, lets meet in our secret place,

I need to feel that heart that beats for me alone.

That heart that fashioned me in my mother’s womb.

That chose uniquely my features,

That created me and said this is good

That heart that fashioned my life and destiny

That placed me in my mother’s womb.

 

My God you are awesome,

How marvellous are your thoughts towards me,

I ponder it and wonder, the dedication that protected a blob of flesh till it became a human being! Watching careful till all the body parts were developed,

Monitoring their progress and proportions until I was fully formed.

I am alive today because of that faithful ness to yourself and your word

The best for me is to praise and worship at your temple, 

offer thanksgiving with a loud voice,

teach the next generations who you are and who their creator is

that is what you require from man, even my worship is not important, for. You

you were worshiped before I was born!

 

You are a self-sufficient God,

You can create and praise yourself by saying, “THIS IS GOOD”

YOU DON’T NEED ANYONE TO MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL!

But I will worship you anywhere.

It is my privilege and an honour, to be allowed to join your heavenly hosts to worship

At your throne, to join the seraphim in crying HOLY, HOLY, HOLY

IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

PRAISE THE LORD OH MY SOUL

Praise the Awesome one,

PRAISE the Glorious one,

Praise the mighty one of Israel

Blessed be His Name.

 

I stand in awe of your glorious works to the sons of men

I stand in awe of your mighty works in my life,

Your faithful ness oh LORD exceeds the expectations of men.

You are in your class on your own!!!

Who can compete with your goodness, mercy and excellence,

Truly you are the unknowable God!!!

 

I BOW MY KNEES IN WORSHIP!!!

I lie prostrate before your throne.

Trying to comprehend who you are,

Desperately trying to express my love to you, but words fail me 

For you are the indescribable mighty God.

How can feeble mortal man comprehend you?

 

AS I CONTAPLATE these things in the night watches, I

I ask myself, am I even worthy to search and find you?

You are so holy, that your holiness can swallow my mortal frame.

Yet the passion and desire to find you is unquenchable

It burns me up day and night!

What a paradox! I cannot help my self but to continue seeking to seek you till I seek no more because I am in your presence.

What a glorious day when all our striving will cease because we finally get to see you face to face.

BLESSED BE THE LORD GOD JEHOVAH

 

I bless you oh Lord my God

How excellent is your name.

I will praise you all the days of my life,

 for l have seen your wonders in my life.

Since l was born you have been with me.

When mountains of death towered over me,

You held my hand l did not sink. 

You hid my life in you, in the secret place where death could not find me.

Truly you are the almighty God.

 

LORD, how beautiful is your love,

So strong and steady towards the sons of men.

You have been good to us even if we did not deserve it.

Even though we fall short you remain steadfast in your love.

You pick us up when we fall, dust us and restore us to yourself.

Truly you are awesome.

If you were a son of man, you would have long given up on us,

But when we are weak and in despair you pick us up.

You whisper words of hope and comfort.

You build us up again and again!

How can we ever thank you enough?

 

My greatest desire is to come to your home,

To come and bow down and worship at your feet.

To lie prostrate at your throne, and pour my love on you,

But then love is your nature, love is who you are!

I can not even boast of loving you, for that love comes from you.

I don’t know if l have anything that l can give you that you do not already have

I just thing l will give you my praise and adoration.

My worship belongs to you Holy one.

I am yours with all l have.

Maybe my greatest gift to you is to teach the following generations about you.

To tell them about you and your love.

Instruct them to tell the generations after them about you and you home.

Oh this too is nothing compared to what you have done for the children of man.

 

As I ponder your love, greatness and grandeur 

Tears roll down my face, because l cannot comprehend you.

The more l try, the more you become even more lofty.

This too is too grand for me.

I must acknowledge that you are too wonderful for humans to know

I will worship you, that is my portion.

I will teach my brethren to fear you, for you are awesome

You are glorious and you are a mystery to the sons of men.

I will praise and worship you till I die.

That is my portion of life,

AMEN!

I will bless thee oh lord with all my heart,

Daily you are my delight.

You have been my delight since I was born

My life has been hidden in thee.

I will always glorify your Holy name.

I will bow down at your throne and lift your name up 

As I live my praise belongs to thee,

My love belongs to you.

My heart belongs to you ,

So is my existence.

 

When I look around me, I see nothing worth praise but your.

Your mercy is from everlasting to everlasting.

We drink from it so will our future generations

Great is your love my GOD.

LUKE 18:1

 

Morning family, This is the word of the day today.

 

JESUS is talking about persistent prayer! He gives us a lesson of a widow who would not give up, even though she faced a mean judge. This is an encouragement for us not to give up until we get the answer we need. It is also an example of unrelenting faith.

 

Luke 18:1-8

New King James Version

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

18 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, ² saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor ^[a]regard man. ³ Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ^[b]‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ ⁴ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,⁵ yet because this widow troubles me I will^[c]avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”

⁶ Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. ⁷ And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? ⁸ I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
